    Roanoke City Public Schools is excited to offer the first-ever Dream It, Build It Camp, a free summer opportunity for rising 8th and 9th grade students in partnership with SparkForce! This hands-on camp introduces students to in-demand careers in manufacturing, skilled trades, and STEM through real-world learning, teamwork, and field trips.

    Rising 8th and 9th grade students in Roanoke City Public Schools who are curious about building, creating, and exploring future careers in skilled trades and technology should register today!

    What You’ll Do

    Campers will explore exciting technical fields like:

    • Fabrication

    • Welding

    • CNC Machining

    • Real-world problem-solving

    • Team collaboration

    Dates & Times

    • Session 1: July 7–10

    • Session 2: July 14–17

    Students may register for one session only.
    Camp runs Monday–Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
