    We are excited for our students to come back to school for the 2023-2024 school year! The first day of school is Tuesday, August 22. This webpage will be updated with important back-to-school information to ensure all students start the school year strong.

    Bus Routes

    Bus routes for the 2023-2024 school year are now available. 

    The bus routes page also includes important updates related to meeting students who are in preschool, kindergarten, or use special transportation at the bus stop.

    Immunization Clinics & Student Physicals

    RCPS and Carilion Clinic are hosting immunization clinics and summer health clinics to receive immunizations, student physicals, and sports physicals. Visit Student Health for more information.

  • School Start & Dismissal Times

    All RCPS schools have adjusted start and dismissal times, starting in August 2023. Times have adjusted by only 15 minutes, which will help bus transportation to become more consistent. Visit the start and dismissal times page for more information.
