    Social Media Comments Policy

    Roanoke City Public Schools operates social media sites to share information about the district with all past, present, and future students; teachers; friends; business partners; and others who support the mission and vision of our school district. We welcome comments, including constructive criticism, and will do our best to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. 

    Endorsements and personal or company promotions are not permitted. By using or accessing the Roanoke City Public Schools social media sites, you agree to comply with all Terms and Conditions. We will delete any content that is a violation of these terms or is contrary to our organization’s values. Personal attacks, vulgarity, profanity, sexism, or racism will not be tolerated and will be deleted immediately. Comments not related to the original post may also be deleted. We reserve the right to take action against any user for comments that violate our Terms of Use.

    By accessing, affiliating with, or commenting on Roanoke City Public Schools' social media sites, your identity may be visible to third parties not affiliated with Roanoke City Public Schools. In addition, third parties may be able to access your profile and personal information. Roanoke City Public Schools is not responsible for access to your identity, profile, or personal information by third parties. It is the express responsibility of the user, or their parent or guardian, to protect the user’s identity, profile, and personal information.
