    Morningside Elementary School is one of 17 elementary schools in Roanoke City Public Schools. Located in Southeast Roanoke, Morningside is committed to working with students, families, and our community to provide a safe and positive learning environment where:
     
    • Friendly faces and positive attitudes promote an atmosphere of acceptance and welcoming,
    • All students are engaged and motivated to be successful,
    • Diversity is embraced through differentiated instruction to fully develop each and every child, and
    • Teachers, staff, students, and parents are held to high standards and expectations in order to provide abundant opportunities for students to receive a quality education while learning lifelong skills.

    Morningside is home to the Cubs, and is led by Principal Megan Arthur and Assistant Principal Emily Scott.
