This year's Book Fair theme was "Wild About Books"!  The library was decorated like a zoo (sign said "Zoobrary").  

We also held a fundraiser for Roanoke's Mill Mountain Zoo.  Within a two-week period, our classrooms collected more than $700 for the zoo!  The winning class raised more than $100.  Mrs. Potter's kindergarten class got to come to the Book Fair and each student picked out a free book!  

Mill Mountain Zoo representatives came to Grandin Court on Monday, November 4, with four of their Animal Ambassadors: a long-tailed chinchilla, a huge tortoise, an African tarantula, and a ball python!
