Our annual Summer Reading Program runs from June 12 through August 18, 2023! The six-week program is generously sponsored by Cox.

Read for at least 600 minutes to receive a free book and gift card, and you'll be entered for the chance to win a special prize for your entire class!

How Do I Participate?

Any student in grades pre-K through 12th may participate. To complete the program, students must read, or be read to, at least 600 minutes and submit their completed reading log.

Students can print out a reading log below or ask their school for a copy.

Once you've completed the reading log, submit it to your school or email it to [email protected]. Please make sure to include your name and school.

Please note: Completed reading logs must be signed by a parent/guardian. All pages of the reading log that you've filled out must be submitted. Your name and your school name must be included on your reading log.

Why Should I Read?

Studies show students become better, stronger readers if they continue to read during the summer, and they are also more likely to become lifelong readers. Plus, reading is fun!

But that's not all!

Every student who completes the Summer Reading Program and submits a reading log will receive one free book and a gift card! 

Students will also be entered into a drawing to win a grand prize ice cream party for their entire class during the 2023-2024 school year!

Reading logs MUST be submitted by Friday, August 18, 2023. At the end of the summer, the Communications & Marketing Department will contact families with information about picking up prizes.
