Cyber Sleuths at Patrick Henry & William Fleming

William Fleming student working on a computerCyber security jobs are highly lucrative.  They pay anywhere between $90,000 and $185,000.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be 3.5 million unfilled cyber security jobs globally by 2021. That's why the Roanoke Technical Education Center (ROTEC) now offers Cyber Security courses.

Approximately 30 students are enrolled in Cyber Security at Patrick Henry and William Fleming High Schools.  During class, students quickly open their laptops and get to work.  They are learning all aspects of cyber security, including hacking.  They ethically penetrate using a system called Kali.
