Baccalaureate 2019

A group of PH students dressed in their purple robes at BaccalaureateCelebrations are underway to honor the Class of 2019.  It officially started with Baccalaureate Ceremonies at Patrick Henry and William Fleming High Schools.

The ceremonies featured student performances, guest speakers, showcasing student achievement, and awarding various scholarships.  

Officer Martinez of the Roanoke Police Department was the featured speaker at William Fleming's Baccalaureate.  He graduated from Fleming in 2012.  His inspirational message resonated with students and the crowd.  He received a standing ovation.

Brenda Hale of the NAACP was this year's guest speaker at Patrick Henry's Baccalaureate.  She shared with the graduating class what "success" means.  She received a framed photo of the Class of 2019.
