RCPS+ and High School Summer Program Bus Routes (Summer 2022)
For students in preschool and Kindergarten, or students with disabilities utilizing special transportation, a parent or guardian is required to meet their student at the bus stop each afternoon. Students who are not met by a parent or guardian will be taken back to their school until they can be picked up.
As has been in the national and local news, there is a bus driver shortage, and unfortunately Durham School Services is also experiencing a driver shortage. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
You may track the status of your child's bus using the Durham Bus Tracker App. Click here for information on using the app.
The below are bus routes for summer programs. The times are estimated pick-up times in the morning. Afternoon bus routes are not posted due to factors such as traffic, students who are delayed getting from class to the bus, and other factors, which can cause significant variations in individual bus stop arrival times from day to day. Buses typically depart the school within 15 minutes of dismissal and afternoon routes run in reverse order from the morning. For example, if your child was the first to be picked up in the morning they will be the last to be dropped off in the evening.
