Kathleen Jackson joined Roanoke City Public Schools in 2006 and has served the division in a number of ways including grant writer, financial control specialist, accountant, budget analyst and as director of purchasing and financial control. Mrs. Jackson received her bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary and her MBA from Virginia Tech. In addition to working for the division, Mrs. Jackson is also the parent of two RCPS students.

The Chief Financial Officer oversees the functions of purchasing, accounting, budgeting, warehouse operations, and payroll.
