More than 800 students from the Roanoke Valley competed in various Track and Field events.  They included running and walking events, softball throw, shot put and Javelin.  The athletes received their ribbons on the podium just like at the Olympics.

This year's Big Feet Meet included students from William Fleming and Patrick Henry High Schools, Lucy Addison Middle, James Madison Middle, and Woodrow Wilson Middle.

William Fleming has been recognized by Special Olympics as a Unified Champion School.  Fleming's student body was there to cheer and officiate the competitions.  It was certainly a celebration of Champions.  Congratulations.
