As part of a new mentoring program, Jackson students are reading books to elementary students.  It is a great way for our ELL students to practice speaking English and it allows pre-schoolers a chance to practice their reading.

The first meeting was so successful, the ELL students plan to return in the near future.  They are also talking about visiting other elementary schools in Roanoke.
