Dream It, Build It Summer Camps

Dream It, Build It (Rising 8th and 9th Graders)

Dream It, Build It provides hands-on learning experiences for rising 8th and 9th graders who want to build their technical skills and explore career pathways in areas such as fabrication, welding, CNC machining, and more!

Transportation and lunch are provided.

Sessions will be held at the Roanoke Technical Education Center (ROTEC) at 2200 Grandin Road SW.

• Session 1: June 15-18 (9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
• Session 2: July 6-9 (9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

Dream It, Build It, Work It (Ages 16-24)

Dream It, Build It, Work It is an inclusive camp that provides hands-on learning experiences for current and former Roanoke City Public Schools students ages 16-24 with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, and/or disabilities. Participants will build confidence, develop job readiness skills, and explore inclusive pathways to future employment in areas such as fabrication, welding, CNC machining, and more!

Transportation and lunch are provided. A $20 refundable deposit is required, which will be returned after full attendance (waivers available)

• Session 1: June 15-18 and June 22-26
• Session 2: July 6-9 and 13-16

Time: 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
