Preschool Application Process
Roanoke City Public Schools accepts applications for students who are or will be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 30th of the enrolling school year. Acceptance to the VPI program depends on residency and eligibility criteria. Applications are accepted year-round and eligible students may be selected off the wait list as spots become available. Acceptance into the program is not first-come, first-serve.

- February 12 at 5:30pm: Hurt Park Elementary School (1525 Salem Ave. SW)
- February 17 from 3:30-5:30pm: The EnVision Center (2607 Salem Turnpike NW)
- February 18 from 1-3pm: Community Empowerment Center (40 Douglass Ave. NW)
- February 24 & 25 from 12-6pm: Community Empowerment Center
- March 4 from 1-3pm: Community Empowerment Center
- March 14 from 10-11am: Westside Elementary School (1441 Westside Blvd. NW)
- March 18 from 1-3pm: Community Empowerment Center
- March 25 from 3:30-5:30pm: Indian Rock Village (2034 Indian Rock Village SE)
- April 11 from 10-11am: Westside Elementary School
- April 16 from 3:30-5:30pm: Villages at Lincoln (1801 Dunbar St. NW)
- May 6 from 3:30-5:30pm: Belmont Library (1101 Morningside St. SE)
