Strategic Plan

The Roanoke City School Board approved the updated Roadmap to Student Success on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as part of the division’s ongoing progress monitoring. This revised plan will guide Roanoke City Public Schools over the next three years.

We are grateful to the many stakeholders who shared their time, voices, and ideas throughout this process. Students, staff, families, community members, and partners all played a role in shaping the updates. As we often say, We Are One, and this plan reflects what’s possible when we come together in support of our students.

This marks the next chapter in an ongoing journey. The Roadmap is a living plan that will continue to evolve. Every two years, we will pause to assess our progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on course to make sure every student has a clear and supportive path to success.
