The National Honor Society (NHS) is based on the tenants of scholarship, service, character, and leadership. Juniors and Seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher must apply and be accepted into NHS. Members participate in a variety of community service projects and contribute to the betterment of the school climate.

William Fleming High Schools Mu Alpha Theta is a chapter of the national organization, which is the only nationwide Honor Society for Mathematics.  Mu Alpha Theta promotes interest and skill in mathematics through enrichment activities, contests, and challenges.  Members are eligible for scholarships, awards, and grants based on merit and achievement.  Join us for NASA-based STEAM activities, skill building opportunities, networking with colleges and professionals, building your college application and employment resumes, and community service opportunities!  Contact the sponsor for more information.
