Mathematics signing bonus:  $3,000
Special Education signing bonus:  $2,000

One-time signing bonuses are available for mathematics/special education teachers that are either fully licensed in Virginia - or are eligible for a full Virginia teaching license - in the appropriate endorsement area.  Individuals possessing or receiving Provisional teaching licenses are not eligible.  The signing bonus will be paid after the first 30 days of employment in a lump sum.  The employee is obligated to complete one year of employment with Roanoke City Public Schools.
