The concert allows our students to see and hear firsthand what the arts community has to offer.  It also encourages students to get involved in the arts when they are young.  Several of the performers were students from Patrick Henry and William Fleming High Schools.

The concert cost the students nothing.  The following schools attended the Discovery Concert:  Crystal Spring Elementary, Fairview Elementary, Fallon Park Elementary, Grandin Court Elementary, Highland Park Elementary, Hurt Park Elementary, James Breckinridge Middle, James Madison Middle, Monterey Elementary, and Virginia Heights Elementary.
