Hometown Bank employee holding oil canvas painting of the Mill Mountain StarLocal artist Adam Johnson is using his talents to help our homeless students.  He painted an oil portrait of the Mill Mountain Star. He graciously donated this work of art to the school system for an auction.  The winning bid was $900 from HomeTown Bank. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Roanoke City Public Schools' Help the Homeless Fund.

Adam is selling prints of the painting for $60.  He plans to donate $10 from each sale to the Help the Homeless Fund.  If you want to buy a print email him at adam@adamjohnsonstudio.com

THANK YOU Mr. Johnson for your generous gift and HomeTown Bank for your bid.  With nearly 300 homeless students so far this school year, we believe the money raised from this auction will help our students.
